Doba.objects operates as a small independent studio producing wearable objects. All design and production take place in Sarajevo under the direction of a single designer-maker.

The studio works across three collections:

• Novo doba Wax carved pieces, cast in solid metal. These designs are repeatable and made to order.
• Limited Collection Pieces in ebony wood or wood combined with silver, stones etc. Each piece is designed and produced individually. One of one. Once a Limited piece is sold, that specific design is not repeated.
• Bold Collection Larger sculptural pieces produced in bigger scale, one at a time. Some are made to order, some are one of one models.

No collection uses plating. All metal is solid. All wood is solid.

Ordering and production time

All orders are produced individually. Production time depends on the collection and the current studio schedule. An estimated production window is communicated at the time of order along with material prices , advance payment etc..

Custom work and commissions

The studio accepts a limited number of custom commissions each year. Scope, price, and timing are agreed in writing before work begins.

Material clarity

All pieces are either solid metal, solid wood, or a combination of solid metal and solid wood. The studio does not use plating or hollow forms to imitate weight. Natural variation in wood grain, minor casting marks, and hand finishing are part of the studio’s aesthetic and are not treated as defects.

Solid metal

doba.objects metal pieces are solid throughout, not plated. Metal develops a natural patina through normal exposure to air and moisture.

To clean

Use a soft polishing cloth for light tarnish. For deeper tarnish, use a standard polishing cloth or mild metal cleaning solution.

To store

Keep pieces in a dry place away from direct humidity when not being worn.

To avoid

Avoid chlorine, perfume, and household cleaning chemicals applied directly to the piece.

Solid wood

Wood pieces are solid wood, not veneered or laminated. Grain, density, and tone vary naturally from piece to piece.

To clean

Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth after wear. Avoid water and soap. To bring back the shine of wood, after prolonged use, apply small amount of natural oils such as olive oil on its surface.

To store

Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight and extreme heat, cold, or humidity.

To avoid

Do not submerge in water or wear while swimming or showering.
